SUBS

All subs are due 1st January of each year. Each member is responsible for arranging payment of subs before booking any competition dates.

PRIZE MONEY

Members are responsible for checking their score cards prior to signing and submitting. No alterations will be made after the results have been declared and prize money paid out.

Prize money for each competition will be calculated from the money received and split as follows:

1st 40%

2nd 20%

3rd 10%

Nearest the Pins €10 X 4

A player who gets a HOLE IN ONE on any hole will cancel all the nearest the pins and receive all the money for the nearest the pins.

Club receives 10% of the money received which is used to maintain the website and Handicap Master as well as arranging other competitions or events.

CANCELLATION TO PLAY WITH LESS THAN 48 HOURS NOTICE

Due to limited spaces, if you cancel for any reason you will be required to find a replacement if no-one is on the reserve list or pay the green fees to the club reception and pay the society a fine of €30. You will not be able to play in other competitions until the fine is paid.

CANCELLATION ON DAY OF PLAY

Be aware that if you cancel on the day, the club will pay your green fee and will expect the player to pay the club back which will include a 30€ fine.

YELLOW SHIRTS

The Society is very fortunate to have three sponsors who contribute to the purchase of the society yellow shirts so we need to respect their contribution and wear them on competition days. Anyone not wearing the shirt will be fined €30 and will not be permitted to play until the fine is paid.

HANDICAP CERTIFICATES

The society maintains the members handicaps whilst playing at Adeje Golf Course, if a member is playing at their home golf club and returns to Adeje they must provide an updated handicap certificate or revert to playing for handicap rules.

CAPTAINS DAY COMPETITIONS

Competitions will be arranged and played throughout the year, only members who have completed a minimum of 10 rounds of golf during the year can be included in the competition results. Members who have not played the minimum number of rounds may still be able to play if there is space as priority will be given to members who are playing regularly.

VISITORS

Any visitor who has been invited to play in any of the regular weekly competitions must provide a handicap certificate before playing, otherwise they may still be able to play but their card will not be included in the overall results posted.
